James & Co is led by Chris James, a licensed builder and carpenter based in North Epping. Having grown up in the area, Chris brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in residential construction. He specialises in projects that need a careful touch — repairs, renovations and work that’s too complex for a handyman but not suited to larger building companies, which typically focus on large-scale extensions and renovations.
Over the years, Chris has overseen hundreds of small to medium projects across Sydney’s North Shore — from simple repairs and the restoration of century-old homes to directing teams on modern extensions. He understands the extra care required when families remain at home during works, and ensures every project is planned and completed properly and neatly, with minimal disruption to your home.
With strong connections to local suppliers and trusted trades, Chris keeps each job running smoothly from start to finish. As your single point of contact, he personally manages every stage of the project with care and attention to detail.
